Process maps, runbooks, career documents
The documents that keep it running.
A map so you can see how the work moves. A runbook so the person at the desk knows what to do. Fixed price, delivered, yours.
What's included
What we sort out
- Process mapping: what actually happens, step by step, on paper
- Documentation of process that currently exists only in someone's memory
- Role and responsibility definition, including coverage when people are out
- Form and workflow redesign
- Purchasing, approval, and vendor process
- Coverage plans for when the person who knows everything is out
Two documents, not one
The map and the runbook
A process map shows the owner how work actually moves — every step, who owns it, and where it breaks. A runbook tells the person at the desk what to do at 8:04 on a Tuesday. Most engagements produce both, in that order, because you cannot write the second one honestly until you have done the first.
Worth saying plainly
We are not attorneys or accountants
We help you organize, document, and prepare, and we tell you clearly when something needs a lawyer or a CPA instead of us. Anyone who blurs that line is doing you a disservice.
Examples
Operations work we've done.
Process mapping
A complete written process map for a compliance-heavy workflow with legal deadlines, produced so that any staff member could pick it up and run it correctly.
Purchasing and approvals
A purchasing system with routed approvals, budget visibility, and an audit trail, replacing an email chain nobody could reconstruct after the fact.
Front office runbook
A written runbook for a front desk covering phones, visitor management, records, and the daily open and close, built so a new hire could work the desk correctly on day two without shadowing anyone.
Who it's for
If this sounds like you
- Nobody can tell you exactly how a job gets done from start to finish
- Approvals happen by walking down the hall and asking
- Two people think the same task belongs to the other one
- You are about to hire and have nothing written to hand them
- You are structuring a new business and want the bones right the first time
Also available
Career documents
Same discipline, one person instead of one business. A resume is a process map of a career: what you actually did, in what order, and what it produced.
Resume and career package
A rewritten resume built around outcomes rather than duties, a matching cover letter template, and a LinkedIn profile that says the same thing in the same voice. Fixed price, two rounds of revision, delivered in Word and PDF so you can edit it forever.
What's the bottleneck?
Tell us where work gets stuck. We'll map it, write it down, and tell you what to change.
